Purdue, Anthem provide additional information on next steps following cyberattack

In the wake of the cyberattack on Anthem Inc., Purdue's medical plan administrator, the University has been working closely with Anthem to respond to employees' security concerns.

McCuskey named vice provost for student life

Beth McCuskey has been named vice provost for student life, effective immediately. McCuskey, who had been serving as interim vice provost, will report directly to Deba Dutta, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs.

Did You Know?: Heavilon Hall

Since 1894, Heavilon Hall on Purdue's West Lafayette campus has stood as a key academic building as well as an enduring symbol of the Purdue spirit. In fact, Heavilon's storied history — including a fire that destroyed it just after completion and the University president's vow to rebuild it — gave rise to the phrase "one brick higher," now used across campus to embody Boilermakers' characteristic determination and dedication. Shown is the 1895 rebuilt hall.
