Procurement Services Central Mailbox for large requests to be launched on WL campus

Procurement Services is launching a new process, called the Central Mailbox, for the West Lafayette campus to accelerate requests for purchases or estimates of $10,000 and greater, effective Monday (Oct. 20).

Inspired by her family to pursue a nursing education, Rolyn Clarke is a passionate student leader who loves a fast-paced work environment and has earned a reputation of helping those in need. A Liberian refugee, she has used her experiences to become a change agent. Clarke, a senior from Avon, Indiana, is one of five students featured in the latest installment of "5 Students Who Move the World Forward."

Astronaut Walker to give talk, attend Space Day

Charles Walker

Purdue alumnus and astronaut Charles Walker will speak on campus Oct. 24 about his experience in the space program. His talk, which is free and open to the public, begins at 8 p.m. in the Class of 1950 Lecture Hall. Walker also will attend Purdue's annual Space Day on Oct. 25. He will speak at 9:30 a.m. in Elliott Hall of Music. That event also is free and open to the public.
