Purdue Technology Centers, Purdue Foundry honoredThe National Business Incubation Association has awarded the Purdue Technology Centers and Purdue Foundry the 2014 Incubator Network of the Year award. This is the highest distinction awarded by the association. The honor was presented at the NBIA's 28th International Conference in Business Incubation. The technology centers are located in the four-site Purdue Research Park network throughout the state of Indiana: West Lafayette, Indianapolis, Merrillville and New Albany. Faculty and staff newsFaculty, staff invited to Spring Fling todaySpring Fling, the annual appreciation event for faculty, staff, graduate student staff and retirees, is set for 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. today (May 22) on and around Purdue Memorial Mall.
* Spring Fling to affect mail pickup, delivery Second application to rid campus of gypsy moths planned for Friday morningThe second of three aerial applications to eradicate the invasive gypsy moth from the West Lafayette campus is scheduled for Friday (May 23). As with the previous application, this scheduled application could be postponed if weather conditions are inadequate. Memo: Xerox to hold WebCRD/Ariba training sessionsThis memo from Rob Wynkoop, managing director in the Office of the Executive Vice President for Business and Finance, Treasurer, is regarding WebCRD/Ariba training sessions being held by Xerox in May and June to cover the new job submission process. Purdue employees who order from Xerox as well as department approvers are encouraged to attend.
