Special issue: Board of Trustees
William E. "Bill" Sullivan has been named Purdue's chief financial officer and treasurer, effective June 1. Sullivan's appointment was approved today (April 4) by the Board of Trustees at its meeting at Purdue North Central. Sullivan will report to President Mitch Daniels and to the board.
Private giving trends and projections for fiscal year 2014 were the focus today (April 4) of the second in a series of governance reports scheduled for this year to the Board of Trustees.
Presentations made on two Purdue Moves initiatives
The Purdue Board of Trustees today (April 4) heard presentations on two Purdue Moves initiatives -- transforming the College of Technology and strengthening computer science -- from Gary R. Bertoline, dean of the College of Technology, and Jeff Roberts, the Frederick L. Hovde Dean of the College of Science, respectively.

The Board of Trustees today (April 4) approved moving the interior design program at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Trustees, meeting on the Purdue University North Central campus, also approved a resolution of appreciation for those who have donated $1 million or more to Purdue and voted to allow two exceptions to the University's retirement policy.
