Cybersecurity risks such as phishing, malware and identity theft are on the rise, and individuals traveling abroad are common targets. ITaP, Purdue's Office of Programs for Study Abroad, and the Office of the Vice President for Research offer tips to help travelers keep their devices and information secure.
The Purdue community is invited to join President Mitch Daniels for a President's Forum from 8 to 9 a.m. Thursday (Oct. 3) in Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom.

Students at Purdue can now get real-world work experience and good-paying jobs without leaving campus, thanks to partnership with leading tech companies through a new program called Purdue Pathmaker.
The Purdue campus is currently home to nearly 11,000 trees of more than 350 different varieties. The arborists in the Grounds Department follow a carefully developed tree care plan to guide the management of trees on the West Lafayette campus.
An expo Oct. 2 will show how faculty-led student teams can blend international service-learning with practical design experience -- tackling real-world issues such as transportation, clean water and renewable energy -- for academic credit.
A collaboration software company founded by two Purdue alumni has grown and is relocating its headquarters and offices from the Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette to Lafayette.
