When Dreams Dance

Did You Know?: 'When Dreams Dance' sculpture

The simple, elegant sculpture that sits between Schleman and Hovde halls is titled "When Dreams Dance," and it was erected in 2004 to honor two former deans of students. Three Class of 1968 Purdue alumnae donated funds for the project because they spent the early parts of their careers in student affairs and they considered deans Barbara Cook and Beverley Stone to have been great role models for themselves and students.

Season's first Boiler Bridge Walk set for Friday

The first Boiler Bridge Walk of the 2013 Purdue football season is set for 5:40 p.m. Friday (Sept. 6). Members of the Purdue football team will meet and greet their fellow citizens of Lafayette and West Lafayette as the players walk west to east across the John T. Myers Pedestrian Bridge.
