Plant specimens in Purdue's herbaria tell stories of plant life around the world. They also speak volumes about U.S. and world history. Among the collection are plants from George Armstrong Custer's exploration of the Black Hills and Captain James Cook's first voyage around the world. Medco, the company that manages the pharmacy benefit for Purdue's medical plans, has merged with Express Scripts. Although the combined company will call itself Express Scripts, plan participants will continue to see the Medco name for now.

The first-ever meeting between Purdue and Marshall on Sept. 29 has been slated for a 3:30 p.m. start. The game will be shown live on the Big Ten Network.
In an attempt to create a visible show of support for the Purdue football team at Homecoming in Ross-Ade Stadium, Purdue officials are encouraging fans to wear either gold or black, depending on where their seats are located, for the game against Wisconsin on Oct. 13.
