Spring Fling

HFS workers preparing Spring Fling fare

As Purdue employees look forward to Spring Fling on Thursday, more than 20 Housing and Food Services workers are toiling to ensure that the event's lunch is prepared and served successfully. Michael Ellis, assistant operations manager in the Central Production Kitchen in Meredith Hall, says more than 20 workers will make the 4,000 turkey sandwiches, 2,500 ham sandwiches and 500 vegetable sandwiches needed. Spring Fling

Córdova statue
unveiled at Union

A bronze bust of President France A. Córdova was unveiled Friday (May 11) in Purdue Memorial Union's Great Hall. The rendering, created by artist John Hebenstreit of Cincinnati and cast by Sincerus Bronze Art Studio of Indianapolis, joins 10 busts of past Purdue presidents in the Union.

Women's golf advances to 13th consecutive NCAA Championships

The 33rd-ranked Purdue women's golf team fired a 294 on Saturday for a three-round total of 902 to finish third at the NCAA Central Regional.
