As Purdue's information security policy and compliance director, Grama is responsible for writing the policies and guidance documents that ensure that the wealth of information the University collects is safeguarded properly.

Today's President's Forum to focus on information technology
Faculty and staff are invited to attend a President's Forum from 9 to 10 a.m. today (Feb. 28) in Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom. The forum will feature remarks by President France A. Córdova and a presentation titled "Information Technology: Purdue's Moneyball" by Gerry McCartney, chief information officer, vice president for information technology at Purdue and the Olga Oesterle England Professor of Information Technology. Purdue Libraries leading effort to train future scientists in managing, curating their data
In partnership with librarians at the University of Minnesota, the University of Oregon and Cornell University, Purdue Libraries has received nearly $250,000 from the Institute of Museum and Library Services to develop training programs for the next generation of scientists to enable them to find, organize, use and share data efficiently and effectively.
