Reception set to honor Pagano

A reception in honor of Mark Pagano, dean of continuing education and conferences, will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sept. 27 in the Purdue Memorial Union East Faculty Lounge. Pagano is leaving Purdue this month to become provost and chief academic officer at Montana State University Billings. The reception, sponsored by the Office of the Provost, is open to all Purdue faculty and staff.

Purdue student wins national title in drag racing

Hector Arana Jr., a Purdue student in mechanical engineering technology, won the Pro Stock Motorcycle division Monday (Sept. 5) in drag racing's biggest event, the U.S. Nationals. Arana is enrolled at the Statewide Technology campus at New Albany. The competition was in Indianapolis. Read more...
