Purdue community can watch Nobel Prize winner via webcasts
Students, colleagues and fans can watch Purdue's Nobel laureate Ei-Ichi Negishi via live webcast as he delivers his Nobel Lecture and receives the 2010 Nobel Prize in chemistry in Stockholm, Sweden.
At 5 a.m. ET Wednesday (Dec. 8), Negishi, Richard Heck and Akira Suzuki, co-recipients of the Nobel Prize in chemistry, will give the Nobel Lectures in Chemistry. At 10:30 a.m. ET Friday (Dec. 10), Negishi will be part of the Nobel Prize award ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall.
Both events will stream live in high definition on Nobelprize.org, the official website of the Nobel Prize, and will be available as video on-demand 24 hours after the events.

Purdue volleyball heading to Sweet 16
The Boilermaker volleyball team punched its ticket to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the third time in the last six years with a 3-1 win over Louisville on Saturday night. Purdue won the match 26-24, 25-23, 18-25, 25-15 to earn a date with No. 1 Florida in Austin, Texas, on Friday (Dec. 10). Read more...
