New sculpture
installations honor Boilermaker traditions
Purdue's new brand campaign, "Makers, All," is celebrating Boilermaker traditions with three sculpture
installations on campus. A moon sculpture located near the Materials and Electrical Engineering Building honors Purdue's accomplishments in space, and a pencil installation in Founders Park touts the efforts of the Online Writing Lab. In front of the Burton D. Morgan Center, a seismograph highlights Purdue's earthquake research.

As part of its Homecoming celebration, Purdue has unveiled a new brand
campaign, "Makers, All." Teri Lucie Thompson, vice president
for marketing and media, answers questions about the importance of a
brand strategy in guiding messaging and marketing, the process of
developing and implementing a "brand road map," and how the
campaign will further enhance Purdue's beloved Boilermaker tradition.

Game Starters
Game Starters: Al Capitos, superintendent of turf and maintenance
Before the team takes the field and the referee calls for kickoff, Purdue staff members play their part in making football games successful. Each Friday before a home game, as Ross-Ade Stadium waits to come alive with cheering Boilermakers, a staff member who is integral to game day will be featured in Purdue Today's Game Starters series.
