Student Conference on Diversity to encourage campus dialogue
Intersections, the 2010 Student Conference on Diversity, will be held Wednesday through Saturday (Feb. 17-20) in Stewart Center. The annual conference, sponsored by the Diversity Resource Office/DiversiKey and the Office of the Dean of Students, aims to engage the campus community in dialogue on issues of domestic and global diversity at Purdue. Purdue's Building Construction Management Department is holding a College of Technology Haiti Housing Relief Competition. Teams of six students will develop proposals for a design-construction-delivery concept for secure, long-term temporary housing for the millions of Haitians left homeless by the Jan. 12 earthquake.
