Dr. Ian Smith will present "Culturally Competent Healthcare" at 7 p.m. in Fowler Hall. Smith is the creator of the 50 Million Pound Challenge, an online initiative geared to inspiring people to take control of the way they eat and exercise in order to lead a healthier lifestyle. He also serves as the medical/diet expert on VH1's "Celebrity Fit Club" and as a medical contributor on ABC's "The View."

Registration still open for 'Walk to the Moon'
More than 13,750,000 steps have been logged for Purdue's "Walk to the Moon" challenge since it began on Sunday. Registration for the event is open now -- and will continue after Healthy Planet ends Friday -- at www.purdue.edu/walktothemoon. Boilers ink 20 to national letters-of-intent, bringing newcomer total to 24
Purdue football head coach Danny Hope announced Wednesday the signing of 20 student-athletes to national letters-of-intent to play football for the Boilermakers. The group joins four other players to make up a 24-member recruiting class, Hope's second at Purdue. Read more...
