Faculty incorporate Common Reading selection into courses
Faculty members on campus are finding innovative ways to use this year's Common Reading book selection, "Stealing Buddha's Dinner" by Bich Minh Nguyen, associate professor of English, in their courses and interactions with students.
Angelica Duran, associate professor of English and comparative literature and director of religious studies, is using the book in her course "English 232: Coming of Age in America," which is part of the identically named learning community. More

Teaching Academy to hold Conversations on Teaching sessions
Purdue's Teaching Academy has announced two upcoming Conversations on Teaching sessions: "Designing & Delivering the Complete Curriculum" on Oct. 16 and "Students & Courses in the Year 2020" on Nov. 19. These sessions are designed to address timely issues relative to learning and the classroom, and are delivered by various members of the Purdue faculty.
