Big Ten Network to stream men's basketball season opener tonight

The men's basketball season tips off tonight when the Boilermakers take on Florida Southern in an exhibition game at Mackey Arena. The game will not be televised, but for Boilermaker fans who can not make it to the arena, there is an alternative. The Big Ten Network will debut its new video streaming initiative with the event, allowing Purdue fans from around the world to tune in. The game will be shown on video.bigtennetwork.com beginning at 9 p.m.. More

University Residences Conference Services to hold open house

Purdue University Residences Conference Services will hold an open house Tuesday (Nov. 4) to showcase residence hall meeting space and the final designs of the newest residence hall. The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. at Shreve Hall in the lower level. Attendees can enjoy samples from the residence hall catering menu and meet the conference services staff.
