Co-Curricular Activities
To plan co-curricular activities for your learning community students, follow the instructions listed below, and be sure to start your planning process well in advance.
You MUST fill out an Event Request Form and submit it to Student Success at Purdue staff members working with Learning Communities AT LEAST TWO WEEKS in advance of your activity.
- To use the learning communities credit card, contact the Student Success at Purdue Business Office at 4sa9-46326 or 49-63890 AT LEAST ONE WEEK in advance of the activity to schedule a time to pick up the credit card at the Student Success at Purdue Business Office (ENAD 228). Also, fill out your portion of the Credit Card Purchase Form (see below) and bring it with you to pick up the credit card. Please return the credit card as soon as possible, in person, and with itemized receipts for your purchases, to the Student Success at Purdue Business Office (ENAD 228). Remember, we have tax-exempt status, so be sure to provide the vendor with our tax-exempt ID number located in the credit card holder you receive with the credit card. Sales tax cannot be reimbursed to you if you make a purchase and submit an Incidental Purchase Form after the fact.
- To use the learning communities dining card (for use in the University dining halls), contact the Student Success at Purdue Business Office at 49-46326 or 49-63890 AT LEAST ONE WEEK in advance of the activity to schedule a time to pick up the dining card at the Student Success at Purdue Business Office (ENAD 228). Also, fill out your portion of the Dining Card Check-Out Form (see below) and bring it with you to pick up the dining card. Please return the dining card as soon as possible, in person, to the Student Success at Purdue Business Office (ENAD 228).

Reserve a Location
- You can reserve most rooms on campus by filling out a reserve-a-room form on the Space Management and Academic Scheduling Web site. If you want a room in the Union or Stewart Center, you must make a reservation through the Union Catering and Events Office by calling 49-48910. (Keep in mind that if you’re using Stewart or the Union and you want food, your event must be catered by the Union Catering and Events Office.)
To schedule events in University housing, please contact the Learning Community office at 49-48571 AT LEAST 3 WEEKS prior to your event. Outside food may not be brought into the residence halls.
Make Travel Arrangements
- Learning Communities will make all travel arrangement accomodations through Transportation for your learning community event. Please fill out the transportation information on the Event Request Form in order for your arrangements to be made as soon as possible. DO NOT make travel arrangements on your own.
