Our Mission Statement
Identify and evaluate risk and loss exposures to the valued assets (people, reputation and property) of Purdue University, its Trustees and affiliate organizations, in order to efficiently and appropriately control and finance those exposures, maximizing the University's overall mission and performance.
Insurance and Procurement
As part of its mission, the Risk Management Department designs, implements and maintains risk financing programs for the Purdue system and affiliate organizations. This includes procurement associated with key exposure areas.
- Liability: aircraft, airport, auto, educators legal, directors and officers, products and products completed operations, general, medical professional and other professional
- Property: aircraft, auto and buildings/contents physical damage
- Accident and Medical: sports, international travel and camps/conferences
- Crime: employee dishonesty
