September 3, 2009 Health symposium focuses on aging brainWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The aging brain is the theme for the Center on Aging and the Life Course's 2009 symposium at Purdue University.The symposium, which is 1-5 p.m. Sept. 11 in the Purdue Memorial Union's West Faculty Lounge, will feature speakers discussing brain function, what happens when the brain ages, as well as how nutrition and genetics affect the brain. There is no fee for Purdue faculty, staff and students, and those 65 and older.
