ALERT: Tippecanoe County issues 'hazardous travel watch'

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Tippecanoe County Commissioners in conjunction with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff, Emergency Management Director and Tippecanoe Highway Department Superintendent have issued a LEVEL 3 "Hazardous Travel Watch" for Tippecanoe County roadways through 8 a.m. Friday (Jan. 16).

This does not prohibit travel, but recommends caution. It also asks that the public makes an effort to not park in a way that interferes with snow removal. Level 3 is the least restrictive.

Conditions will continue to be monitored to determine if the advisory level needs to be modified. Currently the level 3 advisory will expire at 8 a.m. Friday (Jan. 16).
