Financial aid presentation to offer help for students, parents

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - High school students and their parents can learn more about college financial aid during an upcoming presentation by Purdue's Division of Financial Aid and the Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette financial aid office.

The presentation will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Ivy Tech Community College Auditorium, 3101 S. Creasy Lane, Lafayette. The Indiana Student Financial Aid Association is sponsoring the presentation with a short overview of financial aid basics. After a break, students and parents will hear details about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process.

Parents and students also may attend College Goal Sunday Feb. 15 at the Ivy Tech Community College auditorium. Financial aid counselors will be available from 2-4 p.m. to help families fill out the FAFSA and answer any additional financial aid questions.
