College of Technology at Richmond awards scholarships to five

RICHMOND, Ind. - Purdue University's College of Technology at Richmond has awarded scholarships totaling $6,500 to five students for the 2007-08 academic year.

The following students were awarded scholarships:

* Drew Dishman received a $1,000 scholarship from the Wayne County Foundation. Dishman also received the Dana and Jean Wiegel Technology Scholarship, worth $1,000.

* Steven Uhl and Jacob Conrad each received a $1,500 Wayne County Foundation Scholarship.

* Caleb Hale received a $1,000 scholarship from the Bob Phillips Memorial Fund.

* Ben Winchester  received a $500 scholarship from the Bob Phillips Memorial Fund.

The Purdue College of Technology at Richmond offers degrees in computer graphics technology, industrial technology, mechanical engineering technology, and organizational leadership and supervision.
