Purdue University police are seeking a man who exposed himself to a woman inside a tanning salon Wednesday (Feb. 6) at the Purdue West shopping center.

According to police, a white male entered a tanning booth at Big Ten Tan around 4 p.m. He initially was seen leaning over a separating wall and looking into a booth as a woman was disrobing, said Lt. Fred Davis. The woman noticed him, and he left.

Davis said the man allegedly then entered another tanning booth. The woman who was using the booth told police that she turned and saw the man exposing himself. She yelled at him, and he fled the building, Davis said.

The man was described as 20-30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with dark blond or brown hair. He was wearing a long-sleeve crewneck shirt with blue stripes, jeans and a dark baseball cap. Investigators were working with witnesses to complete a composite sketch of the suspect.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Purdue Police Department at (765) 494-8221.
