8 television sets stolen from Ross-Ade Pavilion

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University police are investigating the theft of eight televisions from the third floor of the Ross-Ade Stadium Pavilion.

Lt. Fred Davis said the theft occurred sometime between 2 p.m. Wednesday (Nov. 21) and when staff arrived for work at about 6 a.m. Monday (Nov. 26). The 32-inch, flat-screen Sharp televisions are valued at about $900 each.

A door to the third floor, which houses a facility that can be rented for special events, was pried open, Davis said. Investigators have not yet determined how the thieves entered the pavilion itself.

Anyone with information can call the Purdue Police Department at (765) 494-8221 or the anonymous crime tip line at (765) 496-3784.
