ND, Purdue to present health initiatives to U.N.

A special event highlighting the global health initiatives of University of Notre Dame and Purdue University researchers will be held in New York City on Sept. 25 (Tuesday) in conjunction with the opening of the 62nd session of the United Nations General Assembly.
 

The Permanent Observer Mission of the Holy See to the United Nations will host the event, titled “Global Health in Focus,�? at 1:45 p.m. in Holy Family Hall, 315 East 47th St. Health ministers and U.N. representatives from several developing countries with large disease burdens will be in attendance, along with Vatican officials.
