July 24, 2007 Free computer graphics workshop planned July 31 in RichmondRICHMOND, Ind. - Purdue's College of Technology at Richmond will conduct a free computer graphics technology day camp on July 31.The camp will be from 1-4 p.m. in Middlefork Hall, Room 214, on the Indiana University East campus in Richmond. The workshop is open to all ages on a first-come, first-served basis. Sarah George, a visiting assistant professor of computer graphics technology, will discuss how to use Adobe programs, including Photoshop, for 2-D layout design. George also will discuss the courses and degree programs that the College of Technology at Richmond offers in computer graphics technology. Purdue offers an associate degree in computer graphics technology at the Richmond location. Courses include Adobe Photoshop, programming, lighting and rendering, interactive and multimedia graphics, computer animation, sketching for visualization, and vector imaging for computer graphics.
