APSAC announces grant recipients

The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee has awarded individual professional development grants to 13 administrative and professional staff members.

Grants up to $750 are awarded twice a year. APSAC awarded a total of $9,480 for its fall 2009 grants. The Professional Development Subcommittee chose the winners from 48 applicants.

The next application period will be Feb. 1 through March. 1. Information about the process is at www.purdue.edu/apsac/Subcommittees/grantgeneral.htm.

* Douglas Cuttell, Purdue Center for Cancer Research.

* Deborah Stevenson, Veterinary Clinical Sciences.

* Elaine Willerton, Child Development and Family Studies.

* Amy Cade, College of Engineering administration.

* Omolola Adedokun, Discovery Learning Research Center.

* Kavita Pai, Provost Business Office.

* Rebecca Wong, Purdue University Student Health Center.

* Markika Harris, Vice President for Business Services System Support Group.

* Lisa Ratliff, Krannert School of Management administration and instruction.

* Ronald Erdei, ITaP Systems and Operations.

* Jennifer Linvill, Office of International Students and Scholars.

* Jennifer Meyer, Forestry and Natural Resources.
