Panel discussion to focus on obesity

The Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering will be hosting a panel discussion on obesity on Friday (Oct. 31) in the Mann Hall atrium. 

The panel will include Linnette Woodman, pediatric internist and steering committee member for the Power Over Pounds program at Clarian Arnett; Anne Mahon, nutrition education programs coordinator at Purdue Student Health Center; and Carol Boushey, associate professor of foods and nutrition.

The panel discussion will focus on local efforts to change the course of obesity in the community. Panelists will talk about current initiatives and opportunities to advance research at Purdue and in the Greater Lafayette area.

Lunch will be served at 11:15 a.m., and the panel will start at 11:30. Reservations are requested at rche@purdue.edu.
