Faculty invited to President's Colloquia presentation on April 17

Faculty members are encouraged to attend the final President's Colloquia presentation for the spring semester on April 17. Hosted by President Mitch Daniels, the colloquia provide opportunities to hear faculty experts discuss their research in presentations specifically for non-experts on the subject matter.

Alumnus Kong Kat Wong may epitomize the energetic, innovative and collaborative style of an ambitious Boilermaker. As co-founder of Xiaomi, a leading Chinese technology firm, he will return Tuesday (April 9) to Purdue to speak about global tech as part of the Giant Leaps Series. Other key coming events take on computer security and global hunger in another stimulating week in Purdue’s Giant Leaps Sesquicentennial Campaign. Don't Miss It!

Entrepreneurial Learning Academy open to faculty

The Entrepreneurial Learning Academy is accepting applications from Purdue faculty interested in finding out more about the commercialization possibilities for their research. Tenured or tenure-track faculty including research and clinical faculty are eligible. Since the academy was founded in 2007, 146 faculty members from every college at Purdue have participated.

Spring Fest weekend

Visitors to Spring Fest had the opportunity to learn about insects, other animals, plants, art and much more at activities this weekend throughout the West Lafayette campus.
