Event to celebrate teaching excellence by grad students

The Purdue Teaching Academy and the Graduate School will present graduate student teaching awards Tuesday (April 24) at the 20th annual Celebration of Graduate Student Teaching Excellence. The awards ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. at Ross-Ade Pavilion's Shively Club. The ceremony is open to the public.

'Key factor' in development of Parkinson's disease identified

A molecule has been identified that appears to play an important role in the development of Parkinson's disease, a debilitating disease that affects millions of people around the world. The discovery could lead to therapies, potentially including drugs currently on the market, and it could facilitate earlier diagnosis and prevention of the neurological disorder.
