New student induction ceremony at Boiler Gold RushPresident Mitch Daniels and a host of speakers on Tuesday (Aug. 16) welcomed about 6,500 new students to Purdue during the annual new student induction ceremony at Mackey Arena. The ceremony is part of Boiler Gold Rush, Purdue's orientation program.
