Purdue to activate alert system, conduct evacuation drills during BGR

Purdue will conduct evacuation drills and test its all-hazards outdoor emergency warning sirens this week during Boiler Gold Rush, the orientation program for new students. New students will be evacuated from Elliott Hall of Music during one of two sessions –- at 11:30 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 18) and 11:30 a.m. Friday (Aug. 19.)

Rueff Galleries to open season with collages by Val Britton, posters by Purdue students

The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries will feature intricate collages by Val Britton and posters by students from Purdue and Cuba beginning Aug. 22. The Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries are housed in Yue-Kong Pao Hall.
