Upcoming 'Skills for Performance' training opportunities announced

The third round of Employee Training and Development's popular "Skills for Performance" training -- available to all employees with supervisor approval -- has been announced. Some courses are specifically targeted to supervisors; however, all courses are open to all employees who are interested in attending.

More Purdue students studying abroad
this summer

Purdue continues to see an increase in study abroad participation, especially during the summer sessions. The Office of Programs for Study Abroad expects approximately 1,223 students to participate in summer study abroad programs compared with 1,144 last year. There were 992 undergraduate participants in 2014 and 751 in 2013. This summer's total will bring the number of Purdue undergraduate students studying abroad to 2,268 for the 2015-16 year. Study abroad is one of the 10 Purdue Moves strategic initiatives.
