Workshop aims to support families affected by autism

Human Resources will host a family-friendly workshop on raising a child with autism from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday (April 5) in Stewart Center, Room 311. Registration is due today (April 1).

Purdue research team

Researchers reveal Zika virus structure, a critical advance in the development of treatments

A team led by Purdue researchers is the first to determine the structure of the Zika virus, which reveals insights critical to the development of effective antiviral treatments and vaccines. Zika virus research shared around the world

Nearly 300 media outlets around the world carried news of the discovery of the Zika virus structure by Purdue's structural biology team. An event in Hockmeyer Hall of Structural Biology drew media and others excited to share in the news. Internationally, the Guardian was among news outlets to carry the news, while national coverage included such outlets as the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, Bloomberg News, NBC News.com and Time Magazine.
