Second Gallup-Purdue Index asks: Is college worth the cost?

The second national Gallup-Purdue Index identified stark differences in graduates of public, private and for-profit colleges when asked if their degree was worth the cost and raised questions across all institutions about the value of a college degree.

Purdue Alert test set for today

Purdue will test its emergency notification system, including sirens, at 10 a.m. today (Sept. 29). If there is inclement weather, the siren test will be canceled.

Purdue to increase child care options with new center

Construction is in the beginning phase for a new child care facility at Purdue that will have the capacity to care for 140 children when it opens in August 2016. A groundbreaking took place on Monday (Sept. 28) for the new Purdue Child Care Center. Event speakers included Purdue President Mitch Daniels and Trent Klingerman, Purdue vice president for human resources.
