Pharmacy professors say flipping classrooms is about making time for active learning

With help from Purdue's IMPACT initiative, Pharmacy professors Animesh Aditya and Marc Loudon have turned the large lecture hall into an active learning space, where enhancing student engagement and problem solving are the goals.

Purdue Profiles: Jane Rose

Jane Rose feels very much at home as professor of English at Purdue North Central. It's no wonder. She's from the area, and since returning there, she's used her Purdue PhD to create and teach courses she loves, covering topics from Ethnic American literature to teen detectives. As the English honor society's faculty sponsor (seen with group members above), she's fulfilled her commitment to students and emphasized the importance of giving back.
