Purdue trustees approve at-risk compensation
for Daniels

The Executive Committee of Purdue University's Board of Trustees on Wednesday (Nov. 5) voted to provide President Mitch Daniels $110,880 from a pool of $126,000 in at-risk funds based on a metrics-based review of his performance over the past fiscal year.

Human Resources reminds all benefits-eligible employees to log in and enroll for 2015 coverage

Open enrollment for 2015 benefits ends in just over a week, and Human Resources is encouraging all eligible employees to log in to EBenefits and enroll while there's still time.

Today's benefit enrollment events

These benefits open enrollment events will be held today (Nov. 6):

  • Walk-in lab -- 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Freehafer Hall, Room 104.
  • Walk-in lab for Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese speakers -- 9-11 a.m. Tarkington Hall, Room C203.

    Of all the traditions Purdue Memorial Union has adopted since its opening in 1924, some of the liveliest reside in the basement: bowling and billiards in Union Rack and Roll. By the time bowling lanes were installed in the Union in 1936, bowling had become so popular among college students that many student unions across the country housed bowling lanes.
