Purdue to test all-hazards outdoor sirens today

Purdue will conduct evacuation drills and test its all-hazards outdoor emergency warning sirens today (Aug. 19). The University's seven sirens, placed strategically around campus, are scheduled to be sounded about noon.

APSAC chair looks forward to building relationships

Andrea Thomas sees several newfound and advantageous opportunities when she considers the evolving nature of the West Lafayette campus. Thomas, the 2014-15 chair of the Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee, is eager to forge new relationships between APSAC and the University's newest, high-profile hires. She is also committed to continuing to foster APSAC's ongoing relationships with Purdue's established leaders.

Purdue Varsity Glee Club sets 'First Nighter' concert

Varsity Glee Club

Purdue's Varsity Glee Club will start the new academic year with a free performance in Elliott Hall of Music on Aug. 29. The "First Nighter" concert, a tradition that dates back many years, is the first opportunity to see this year's glee club in action.
