A Purdue professor has been elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious honorary societies.
Faculty members were recognized Thursday (April 25) for international and national awards, University and college honors, and distinguished and named professorships at the Faculty Awards Convocation. The convocation also honored faculty for their years of service.
The Honors College Faculty Governance Committee has approved the college's curriculum as part of plans to admit first-year students in fall 2013.
