Emily Vazquez's friendly attitude and driven approach to her work make her an inspirational figure and an integral member of the Office of Admissions. Vazquez started work at Purdue as a clerk and grew in her skills and education to develop her career.
As an admissions operations assistant, Vazquez's duties include acting as the supervising analyst and lead operations trainer for the office, and providing support for senior associate director, Rebekkah Porter.

The Honors College Dean Search Committee is hosting forums for three candidates for the inaugural Honors College dean position in April.
Academic-year faculty and staff who are leaving Purdue at the finish of the semester are reminded that their benefits end on their last day of employment.
"Thumbs Up" gives faculty and staff the chance to recognize others on campus for a job well done.

Purdue sports
Jamie Bissett and Layne Rogers both qualified for the consolation final of platform diving to earn honorable mention All-America distinction and score team points for the Boilermakers, highlighting the third and final day of the NCAA Championships for Purdue men's swimming and diving.
Purdue faculty and staff and their families are invited to attend the Boilermaker football practice with Purdue ID on Saturday (April 6) at Ross-Ade Stadium. The event will start at 9:30 a.m. with access to the field. Practice will follow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
