Academic advisors honor two for outstanding work

Two academic advisors who interact caringly and effectively with both students and colleagues were honored Wednesday (Feb. 13) by the Purdue Academic Advising Association (PACADA).

Child Care Task Force evaluates campus offerings; President Daniels requests survey participation

President Mitch Daniels recognizes the importance of child care at Purdue. Since his arrival, in part based on input from employees he has met, he has urged that we redouble our efforts to make sure we are meeting the needs of the University community. The Child Care Task Force has worked diligently to evaluate child care resources on campus, toward the end of improving current offerings and capacity.

Online portal provides easy access to employee-relevant websites

A new Purdue Web page is now available to provide a one-stop experience for faculty and staff. The Purdue Employee Portal provides shortcuts to useful links such as OnePurdue and Human Resources pages in one place.

A/P staff members invited to APSAC presentation

The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC) will hold a brown bag lunch and presentation for A/P staff members on Tuesday (Feb. 19).

Purdue Today presenting profiles on Title IX service awardees

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Title IX, Purdue has recognized 40 individuals with the Title IX Distinguished Service Award for their significant contributions to the advancement of gender equity in education. Profiles on the recipients will be presented in Purdue Today each month. This month features Zenephia Evans, Mary Harrison Ford, Monica Gary, LaNelle Geddes and Eva Goble.

Hazell to serve as spokesman for Purdue Challenge

Purdue football head coach Darrell Hazell will serve as spokesman for the sixth annual Purdue Challenge, a 5K run/walk set for April 13. It is open to the public, and all proceeds directly benefit the Purdue University Center for Cancer Research.

Purdue baseball available on Big Ten Network, webcasts

Three Purdue baseball games have been selected for Big Ten Network live television coverage. For the first time, the Boilermakers' entire home schedule will be available via live video webcasts.

Softball set for three Big Ten Network appearances in 2013

The Boilermaker softball team is set for three live appearances on the Big Ten Network in 2013, BTN announced on Thursday.
