Passport, a new badge-based learning system developed by ITaP, is helping Bart Collins, clinical associate professor of communication, measure his students' hands-on projects while making grading quicker and easier. Using the tool, Collins' students are able to demonstrate mastery of Web development concepts beyond the classroom.

Purdue West Lafayette will test its emergency notification system, including sirens, at 10 a.m. today (Jan. 17). The test also will include campus-wide emailing, text messaging, the Purdue home page and alert systems in the residence halls and on Boiler TV.
