As director of Purdue's Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program -- and as associate professor of technology leadership and innovation -- Duval-Couetil is passing along her skills and wisdom to students who have their eyes on entrepreneurship.

Remember to certify tobacco-user status, list beneficiaries during open enrollment

As faculty and staff work through this year's benefits open enrollment process, they should certify their tobacco-user status through the online EBenefits system.

Today's benefit enrollment events

Today (Nov. 13) features the following events:

1) Walk-in labs will be held at 7:30 a.m.-noon at Physics Building, Room 116, and at 1-5 p.m. at Freehafer Hall, Room 104.
2) Enrollment Overview presentations will be held at 11 a.m.-noon at Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 129, and at 2-3 p.m. at Stewart Center, Room 214CD.
3) Choice Fund with HSA presentations will be held at 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, Room 129, and at 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Stewart Center, Room 214CD.

Purdue's international student population ranks 2nd for public universities

Purdue continues to have the second-largest international student population among U.S. public universities and is fourth overall, according to a report released Monday (Nov. 12) by the Institute of International Education.

Professor serving as advisor, historian for Ken Burns' Dust Bowl documentary

R. Douglas Hurt, professor and head of Purdue's Department of History, is a program advisor for the upcoming Ken Burns' documentary "The Dust Bowl," which premieres Nov. 18 and 19.

Football banquet set for Dec. 3

Tickets for the 92nd annual Purdue Football Banquet are on sale. The yearly event will be held at 6:15 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballrooms.
