Mark Diekman

Faculty, staff encouraged
to advise student groups

Mark Diekman says he believes his duties as a Purdue professor extend beyond his office and classroom. Diekman, professor of animal sciences, has been the faculty advisor for Chauncey Cooperative House for 26 years, working closely with the student residents to help keep the program running.

Student Activities and Organizations is encouraging full-time faculty and staff members to get involved with any of the 980 student organizations on campus by becoming advisors or guest speakers.

Today's benefit enrollment events

Today (Nov. 12), walk-in labs will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Freehafer Hall, Room 104, and from 1 to 6 p.m. in Stanley Coulter Hall, Room 189. Visit www.purdue.edu/hr/Benefits/enroll.html for a schedule of live sessions and additional help. Open enrollment ends at midnight on Nov. 16.

New program focusing on success of veterans, transfer and commuter students

The Student Success at Purdue department has created a new program to assist veterans, transfer students and commuter students in achieving academic success.

Seminar set for Purdue Climate Change Research Center director candidate

The candidate for the position of the director of the Purdue Climate Change Research Center will give a seminar on the future of the PCCRC on Friday (Nov. 16).

Farmers Market feedback survey available

The Office of University Sustainability is requesting feedback about this year's Purdue Farmers Market via an online survey that will be available through Thursday (Nov. 15).
