Tax season yields higher volume of phishing, malware scams
Tax season is also prime hunting season for cyber criminals attempting to acquire personal information through phishing scams and malware campaigns. Because of the heightened risk this time of year, ITaP reminds Purdue computer users to be cautious of unsolicited emails, especially those requesting personal information or action from the recipient, and to never click on URLs embedded in suspicious emails. Men's basketball earns sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament bid
The Purdue men's basketball team earned its sixth straight NCAA Tournament berth on Sunday night, garnering a No. 10 seed in the Midwest Region from the selection committee. The Boilermakers will face Saint Mary's on Friday in second-round action in Omaha, Neb. Read more...
