Boilermakers to face Western Michigan at Little Caesars Pizza Bowl

The Purdue football team has accepted an invitation to play in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit on Dec. 27. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised by ESPN. Tickets are priced at $45 and $60 and can be ordered through the Purdue Athletic Ticket Office by phone (494-3194 or 800-49-SPORT), in-person during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or online here. No. 13 Boilermakers defeat No. 4 Texas A&M, 60-51

New community cluster supercomputer will be available to faculty in the spring

A new cutting-edge research supercomputing cluster will be available for use by Purdue faculty and their students in the spring of 2012. Purdue and partners Intel, HP and Mellanox built the new Carter community cluster with next-generation hardware.
