Ed Dunn

Ed Dunn got involved with Leadership Lafayette about 10 years ago with a goal of working his way up the corporate ladder. The organization prepped him to be a community leader through volunteerism. But the big payoff comes, he says, with the satisfaction of being able to help people out. Dunn, manager of video and multimedia production services within ITaP (Information Technology at Purdue), now serves on United Way of Greater Lafayette board and is the board president for Lafayette Transitional Housing Center. No. 6 Purdue tops Illinois in final home game

Minutes after No. 6 Purdue's 75-67 victory over Illinois, the band played a version of DJ Khaled's "All I Do is Win" before the school honored JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore on Senior Night. The song title was fitting. Johnson scored 23 points and Moore added 18 as the Boilermakers (25-5, 14-3) finished undefeated at Mackey Arena and remained in contention for the Big Ten title. Boilermakers to play IU on Thursday at Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament

The Purdue women's basketball team will take on intrastate rival Indiana in the first game of the Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament at 2 p.m. ET Thursday (March 3) at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Tickets are still available for the contest and can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Conseco Fieldhouse box office. The game will be carried live on the Big Ten Network. Bunch named Big Ten Women's Indoor Track and Field Freshman of the Year

Purdue rookie track and field standout Dani Bunch was named the 2011 Big Ten Women's Indoor Track and Field Freshman of the Year on Tuesday, as voted upon by the conference coaches. Bunch earns the award after winning the conference championship in the weight throw on Sunday, and placing fourth in the shot put on Saturday at the Big Ten Women's Indoor Championships.
