Purdue official urges staff to increase retirement contribution during temporary payroll tax cut

Among the many provisions of the federal tax-cut bill, which President Obama signed into law on Dec. 17, is a temporary 2 percent discount on payroll taxes throughout 2011. Reminder: Smoke-free policy for WL campus

Under the smoke-free policy for Purdue's West Lafayette campus, which went into effect on July 1, smoking is no longer permitted on campus except in a limited number of designated areas. Links to the complete policy, a map of designated smoking areas and smoking cessation resources are available at www.purdue.edu/smokefree. The site also answers frequently asked questions about the policy and offers a form to report policy violations and concerns.
