Last week, Purdue celebrated Green Week 2010 with a series of activities around campus. The events, including several panel discussions, a Wabash River cleanup, and an alternative energy transportation show, were designed to bring attention to sustainability issues. 3 Purdue professors inducted into the American Academy of Arts & Sciences

Three Purdue professors were inducted into the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious honorary societies, during a ceremony on Saturday (Oct. 9) at the academy's headquarters in Cambridge, Mass. The Purdue professors are (pictured from left) Joseph Francisco, the William E. Moore Distinguished Professor of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences and Chemistry; R. Graham Cooks, the Henry Bohn Hass Distinguished Professor of Chemistry; and Freydoon Shahidi, Distinguished Professor of Mathematics. Read more...

Purdue Global Policy Research Institute seeking research proposals

The Purdue Global Policy Research Institute is requesting proposals for cross-campus interdisciplinary research as part of Purdue’s emerging Global Food Security Initiative.
