Pair of events to celebrate faculty, teaching excellence

Numerous faculty awards will be presented next week at two celebratory events. Many of the awards, along with those for outstanding students, were given in past years at Honors Convocation, which will not be held this year. Leadership nominees sought from among rising sophomores

Faculty and staff are being asked to nominate students for the 20th Annual Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Conference. Nominees must be outstanding students who will be sophomores in the fall and possess strong leadership potential. Nominations are due May 31. Purdue Postdoctoral Association sets dinner for May 8

The Purdue Postdoctoral Association will hold its first dinner at 5:30 p.m. May 8 in the West Faculty Lounge, Purdue Memorial Union. The featured speaker will be Annette Benson, HFS language program administrator, who will talk about "Cross-cultural Communication." All Purdue students, staff and faculty are invited to attend.
